Pentearythritol Ester of gum rosin is obtained by esterification of gum rosin and pentearythritol. It is shaped into flake or granular transport solid through vacuum and stabilization process. It has various advantages of high viscosity, good heat resistance, fine co***tibility with many kinds of polymers. It is an excellent tacking resin.
Product properties: pentaerythritol ester of gum rosin is easily soluble in ether, acetone(propanone), coal tar, esters, benzenes and other solvents and partly soluble in petrolic solvents. It is characterized by light color, high softening point, superior yellowing resistance, good heat stability, anti aging, and strong adhesive force. It can solve in various high polymers in any ratios.
Application: pentearythritol ester of gum rosin is widely applied in the industries of hot melt adhesive, adhesive and self-adhesive. It can enhance the initial and permanent adhesion of pressure sensitive adhesive and be co***tible with the polymers such as NR, CR, SIR, SBS, AND EVA.
